Senior Software Developer

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a senior software developer and architect for industrial desktop applications, with a high orientation towards innovation and quality, to join our multidisciplinary team dedicated to the production and improvement of innovative software products for the industry.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• A BSc or MSc Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Work experience of 3-4 years as a software designer / developer
• In-depth knowledge of software development processes
• Solid experience in designing OO, .NET and C# desktop applications

Objectives

The candidate will be responsible for analyzing requests from customers, assessing their feasibility, defining the architectural specifications, develop the project, test the software independently, and coordinating small teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a global team.
• Analyze the feasibility of solutions and produce the most appropriate software design by leveraging the company's technological knowledge.
• Maintain the functionality of the software by tracking and documenting each activity.
• Create or extend software solutions with a high level of focus on quality and process reliability.
• Focus on improving and researching methods and tools to increase productivity.
• Collaborate with product managers and domain experts to plan the evolution and introduction of new features, proposing improvements to architectures and processes.

Skills and competencies

• Mastery of software engineering basics and ability to formalize software requirements, specifications and design, knowledge and application of architectural and design patterns.
• In-depth knowledge of the Visual Studio development environment, C# and the .Net Framework (WinForms)
• Habit of using products for code versioning (eg GIT or SVN).
• Ability to use bug tracking products (eg Jira or DevOps).
• Habit of working in groups on medium-sized projects (teams with 5 or more members; base code with more than 500,000 lines).
• Good communication skills, predisposition to work in a team and good ability to organize one's work independently.
• Good knowledge of English language (comprehension and production of technical documentation, participation in meetings and seminars using English).
